Caring for Costumes & Jewellery

Costumes

• Apply make-up, deodorant and perfume before dressing, and let them dry.
• Keep silk away from open flames (diyas, lamps) during festivals.
• Air the costume after the performance instead of packing it away warm.
• Never machine or hand wash silk and zari — return as-is; we dry clean.

Jewellery

• Avoid contact with water, perfume and sprays.
• Put jewellery on after dressing and take it off first.
• Keep every piece in the box provided and return them together.

If something goes wrong

If an item gets a stain or a piece comes loose, don’t try to fix or clean it yourself — let us know at return. Minor wear is expected and not charged; we’d rather repair it properly.
